Dave Strohauer

Dave Strohauer

President

Dave brings to Earthshaking Music a diverse set of skills including design and fine woodworking, the semi-mastery of a wide range of percussion instruments, a nearly bionic eye for measuring things without a ruler and then quickly forgetting their dimensions, and the uncanny ability to diagnose car problems by the sound they make and an equally uncanny distaste for getting his hands greasy. Dave is semi-retired and is active in teaching percussion and fitness, and learning new skills such as welding, and the Russian martial art Systema.

General Manager, Stringed Instrument & Tube Electronic Repairs, Sales

Eric, our General Manager, is the backbone of Earthshaking Music and has been with us since 2000. Eric is responsible for guitar and tube amp repairs and has the gift/curse of having memorized 10,000+ item IDs. He has the ability to multi-task at a super-human level, often with one hand in a guitar amp, a phone under his ear ordering stuff, all while telling a great, risque’, joke and designing a new pedal in his head. Eric is a great guitarist (Supafuzz) and film composer and he designs and builds awesome guitar amps and effects pedals under the EdamB brand.
