Introduced in 1993, the Fortress bass has been one of Warwick's most successful basses from the start. The upper horn design gives this easy-handling bass great balance, while the graceful contours are comfortable against the body. The maple body, ovangkol/wenge neck and fingerboard give it the rich harmonics and projection for which all Warwick basses are known.

Seasoned players will appreciate the wide sound spectrum offered by the tried and tested Precision/Jazz bass pickup combination. A rich basic sound provides a solid foundation for deep, pounding, yet cleanly contoured, hard rock sounds as well as for sparkling highs with a natural, player-dependent, dynamic response.
