Gonkogwe bell w/ stick, large

These traditional bells are made in Togo and Ghana by the local blacksmiths
using hand bellows and rudimentary forges. Used to mark the beat in many
ceremonies, this bell is one of the most important parts of many percussion
ensembles. The two tones offer many possible musical variations. You can
dampen the bell against your leg while you play. Experiment and enjoy! Stick
included.
